- Short: Prefs for Datatypes from A. Kleinert
- Author: raptro@cs.tu-berlin.de
- Uploader: raptor@cs.tu-berlin.de
- Version: 1.1
- Type: util/dtype
- Requires: OS 3.0, bgui.library v41
- Kurz: Einsteller für Datatypes von A. Kleinert
-
- ( USE THIS README AS A DOC AND DOWNLOAD IT, TOO )
-
- This program doesn't have a documentation because it's nearly self-explaining
- and it would cost me much more work. It is one program which allows to
- configure all datatypes of Andreas R. Kleinert ( GIF, JFIF, LJPG, PNG, SVG ).
- This program was written in E (thanks Wouter) and uses the "bgui.library"
- (thanks to Jan and Ian).

- COPYRIGHTS
- ----------
-
- This software is stated in the PUBLIC DOMAIN so you can do with that
- package what you want. You are using this piece of software at your
- own risk, so the author can not be held responsible for any problem
- occuring with it.

-
- INSTALLATION
- ------------
-
- Copy the file "akPrefs_D.catalog" to "LOCALE:catalogs/deutsch/akPrefs.catalog"
- if you want to use the german language.
- The files "akPrefs_D.ct" and "akPrefs.cd" are only interesting for
- people who want to translate those files. If you don't need them just kill 'em.
- The program is called "akPrefs" and can be placed anywhere on your harddisk.
- On my system it is located at "PREFS:Datatypes/" as an example.
-
-
- HOW TO USE
- ----------
-
- If the window appears you will see the pages for all datatypes and
- a row of buttons at the bottom of the window. With the pages you
- can switch between the datatype you want to configure. If you are
- pressing the button at the right side or just pressing the escape-key
- you will close this program. If you are pressing the middle-button
- the program will store the configuration-data in "ENV:datatypes/ak*.prefs"
- which means that this configuration is available until the next reboot.
- By pressing the left button, the configuration-data will be stored in
- "ENV:datatypes/ak*.prefs" and "ENVARC:datatypes/ak*.prefs", so the
- configuration will be stored onto your harddisk, too. Only the data
- of the current selected datatype will be stored, so if you want to
- store the configurations of all datatypes, you have to select all
- pages and then press the middle or left button.
